The Unikey is a battery-powered smart key that works
in tandem with a type of electronic locks called the ELock. Unikey
stands for “Universal Key” or “One Key” as it allows that one key
– and its duplicates – to open an infinite number of ELocks. It is
powered by an STC micro-controller chip and comes in a 9-volt or 12-volt
battery type package.
Unikey Features
|
- Regular usage is protected by a 6-digit PIN, and an additional
4-digit PIN is required to use its special features
|
- Its special features provides a way to duplicate a key;
it also allows configuration of an ELock after installation
to digitally match the Unikey with the ELock; and inversely,
provides a way to reconfigure an ELock for another key to
use it exclusively
|
- When reconfiguring an ELock, the Unikey can alternatively
set an ELock to allow one of two different Unikeys to open
it – or requires two different Unikeys to open it.
|
- For ease of use of the elderly, the Unikey allows disabling
of the required 6-digit PIN – it just require entry of the
asterisk key instead; however, to enable the special features,
the 10-digit PIN has to be entered
